Be Free with Permanent Facial Hair Removal

By: Lauri Dill

In many countries, for women to be fashionable it means they should have a body without hair whatsoever, with the exception of the bikini area maybe. A lot of time and effort, not to mention vast sums of money, are spent by women every year to keep the hair on their bodies under control. Under the label of "unwanted" comes the hair on arms and legs, underarms, upper lip, side burns, back, chest and belly. In other words, the whole body. A hair free body is what many glamor girls portray and what many women desire.

The trusted old favorite, the razor, has been and still is in wide use. Razors work fairly well, they are easy portable, cost effective, and works very well in getting rid of hair. Hence, women use razors for shaving off the hair from their legs and arms.

There is a slight drawback to this method, however. A day after the shave, the skin is not smooth any more, with the new hair that's already growing. To maintain silky smooth skin, one has to shave every single day, and that can sometimes be quite a chore. This inconvenience prompted women to look for better ways of hair removal.

The other methods that can be used to eliminate the requirement for daily shaving are, waxing, threading, tweezing, and so on. These methods last longer than shaving, and hence are better if the woman is traveling or lives in places where she is incapable of maintaining a daily routine of for hair removal. If daily shaving is not feasible, these other methods keep the hair off for longer periods of time. Waxing can be very long lasting, i.e. two-four weeks at a stretch.

Permanent hair removal still remains the most desired and convenient solution. When women go through so much pain to have their hair removed periodically, would it not be wonderful to remove the problem once and for all? The best methods of permanent facial hair removal are done with the help of laser. Electrolysis preceded lasers as the preferred permanent hair removal solution. The greater effectiveness of the laser ensured that it surpassed electrolysis to become the number one permanent hair removal system.

Lasers are generally used only on small areas, such as the upper lip. Larger areas of hair removal are nowadays tackled with a new method called the laser diode, to rid those areas of hair.
