Now a days wigs are mostly worn to hide the fact the person wearing the wing is bald and is ashamed of being bald, actors who act in dramas, plays, etc. Wigs have been worn throughout the ages from Egyptians, Phoenicians to Greeks, Romans and English Kings.

throughout Europe. Wigs are more popular in the westernized world where there are principally considered an outline of a dress, maybe. Venice saw extensive and creative wigmakers, who would instill these wigs with masks for the famous Venetian Ballroom dances. Wigs were made up of natural human hair, hair of horses and goats, were used as inexpensive options. In the late 18th Century, wigs were powdered, which gave them their, white and off white color. Wearing of wigs during old time was more a statement made in terms of one’s social status. This was largely abandoned
in the United States.

Today there are wide varieties of wig styles available, from designer wigs like the Amore Collection, Amore Supreme Human Hair Series, Dimples, Freestyle, etc., offering varied lengths and styles like braided wigs, burly wigs, etc. Wigs are worn, more as a substance of expediency as they can be pre-styled and look and feel as natural as your own hair. Wigs have been brought in style, by number of celebrities including Cher, Julia Roberts and so on. Wigs today are made up synthetic as well as natural hair. Even rubber wigs are available.
