Full Face Helmet - Cars Or Motorcycles

By: John Daniele

As vehicles go motorcycles are known to be the least safe of them all. You ask is any vehicle guaranteed? No is the correct answer. The car drivers often do not pay attention to the fact that motorcyclists are on the road. This creates a bit of danger so both drivers that of care and on motorcycles should be aware of each one of them. One other thing that will bring some attention to the bike rider is having their lights on. They should also have a full-face helmet on too to be safe.

All riders should be concerned about being safe. Often times this is attained through donning boots, leathers, gloves, and of course a helmet preferably a full-face model. A jacket and pants is what the term leathers refer to because these are usually made from leather, which protects one from skin scraps. The rider can happen to have a fall with the bike that all of this gear will protect and safeguard the rider from. Full-face helmets are not required but they are strongly recommended as the helmet to purchase due to the extent of the coverage and protection they offer.

Physical attractiveness is another trait that cars and cycles have in common but in different areas. The one problem with cars is that some cars a big and cloddy looking. The sport models can be shiny and visually exciting to look at. But all models are not created equal and neither are colors and styles. You will want to look a bit to see what appeals most to you. Cycles have a similar appeal but the one thing that is way different is the addition that you can view the riders whole body opposed to the car hiding the body.

The rider in all his leather gear is seen by everyone around unlike the car drivers. When a rider is all decked out in their gear they can be quite a sight especially with the full-face helmet. Men and women both with admire each other on their bikes. But if the rider happens to be a woman she may get a tad more attention than a man.

Cars hold odors in once they get in the car until you roll down the window, cars also consume quite a bit of fuel. While the cars are taking in so much fuel the prices are going up daily right now and not just in the USA but also all around the world. Pretty soon we all may need to reexamine how much gas we use in the cars if we don't need to already.

But with cycles it is something different. You may have to stop and get gas more often but only due to smaller gas tanks that only hold about 12 gallons. Because the bikes are not as hefty weight as most cars are this causes them not to burn as much gas trying to move them on the road. The extra weight of the rider on the bike really makes very little difference as to how the cycle performs gas wise. The mileage that is attained with a tank of gas is much more satisfactory on a cycle compared to a car.

The biggest thing that cars and cycles don't have in common is price. The cost of cars is much higher than cycles. Even you buy a clunker in a car for a few hundred dollars chances are you are going to have to put thousands into it to get it fixed. Even the price of a new air conditioning unit for the car could be what a motorcycle would cost. With even cars that are brand spanking new you may have to do work on them. There are those emissions tests, brakes that need to be replaced, and front end alignments that cost a pretty penny. Heck did you know that a car loses almost one third of its value just coming off the lot. You can afford all your gear along with your helmet plus for the cycle for less than the money used for fixing the car.

A bike plus helmet, jacket, boots, pants and gloves comes at not a low price but definitely lower than a car. Cycles that previously owned can be purchased for a mere $300.00. The lower amount of gas you use coupled with the low price of cycles makes them a great deal.
