How Making A Decision To Get Rich Provides You With All The Opportunities You Need To Achieve It

Have you ever heard the expression "opportunity knocking"? Many people spend their whole life waiting for opportunity to come knocking on their door. It is my experience, and the experience of most successful people I know, that opportunity does not come knocking on your door. Opportunity is walking up and down in front of your house each and every day waiting for you to come out and introduce yourself!

Opportunities abound! They are everywhere. A famous person once said that the opportunity of a lifetime comes by about once a fortnight on the average. It is not opportunity that is in short demand; it is the ability to recognize it.

Develop the habit of looking for opportunities and you will start to see them.

Have you ever decided to buy a particular model of car and then find that you are seeing them everywhere? Where were they all before you made your decision? They were there but you simply filtered them out. It is impossible for you to take in and be consciously aware of every single thing that enters your senses every moment of every day. Our brain learns to filter out the sounds that are unimportant, the sights that are unimportant, even the smells that are unimportant. Every day we go through our world consciously registering only a tiny fraction of all the detail that is around us.

So how does our brain decide what to take in and what not to take in? Your brain is the perfect servant. It shows you exactly what you need to be aware of in order to live the life that you have decided to live. That's right, DECIDED. Most people don't realize that the life they live is the result of their own decision. Have you decided to go with the flow, to be one of the herd, or have you decided to be the best you can be, to be rich, powerful and happy? The quality of life that you enjoy or don't enjoy now, and in the years to come, is only a decision away.

Make the decision to be successful financially and your brain will start to show you the opportunities you need in order to achieve that goal. Make the decision to be happy and your brain will start making you aware of the opportunities to become happy.

You've probably heard the wise saying "when the student is ready the master will appear". The teacher is always there, the opportunity is always there, the solutions are always there, the means to achieve whatever you desire is always there but your brain does not make you aware of them until you make the decision to achieve that particular goal.

If you make an unwavering decision to succeed at your chosen goal then you will soon start to become aware of the opportunities around you. The stronger your decision the more opportunities you will notice. If you remain focused on your success goal and take advantage of the opportunities as you become aware of them (combined with risk management of course) before long seeing opportunities will become so natural for you that you will be amazed that most people don't see them.

So make the decision today and unlock your opportunity detector.
