Bad credit report repair is essential in today's society where so many things are based on your credit file. To do so there are certain essential steps and factors to successfully complete the process:

There are many programs and ways to go about the credit repair process.

First off you don’t need some gimmicky software. I have looked at the alternatives out there on the market and most are basically calendar functions that track when you sent your dispute letter, made your dispute call, and when the next scheduled letter and phone contact should be. We all have MS Outlook or the open source equivalent so these are a waste.

You can use the calendar program you have or a paper calendar to know when you must check back on your dispute letter or disputed entry/account on your credit report. Why do they ask you to pay for something you already have? My advice is to avoid all “credit repair” software programs.

Don’t believe any hype that says they have secret software that lets them right into the computer systems of the 3 big credit bureaus. There is no “hack” or secret backdoor that lets them have instant access to delete negative entries straightaway or get a customer service rep to do so.

For the uninitiated the big 3 credit bureaus are Experian, Equifax and Transunion. There are many other smaller and local providers but don’t concern yourself with those for now. Imagine an intricate and seemingly infinite web of computer files and companies to navigate and that is what you are dealing with.

Focus on the big 3 because that is where your results come from. There are 4 easy steps to getting the credit score you deserve and desire. They are:

1. request your free report from each of the bureaus (paid credit score is unnecessary)
2. look over the report (the main thing you are looking for is the direct phone number to each individual bureau)
3. call each of them and talk to a customer service rep. get their personal fax number to their desk.
4. fax a dispute letter to each of the negative entries on your report all at once to them.

That is the basic process. I recommend disputing all the negative entries on your report. The creditor that put them on their has 30 days to respond AND VERIFY the negative entry or else the bureau is legally bound to remove it immediately.

These credit secrets are the basics and will get you started on your way. They achieve the best credit score possible. Immediately stop being embarassed by credit checks for insurance, employment opportunities, and financing for homes and vehicles. It is within your reach.

Of course there are 2 tracks you can take…1) do it yourself 2) hire a service. Do your research carefully and then get into action.

The moment you make the decision to start is the moment your credit starts getting better. That’s the moment you get what you want.
