Network and Propel Yourself Towards Business, Career and Life Success!

Have you ever heard the phrase 'It's not WHAT you know but WHO you know'?

To be successful in business and in life, do you think it's more important for you to have knowledge, experience and skills or is it more important to know the right people? In fact, both are important.

There are many people out there who are very frustrated because even though they are very experienced, very technical and they know their work very well, when they work with their boss, what happens? So it's all about finding ways to market and sell yourself. But if you spend all your free time watching tv or reading by yourself, how are you ever going to meet the people who are willing to pay for your product or services? So if you want to accelerate your results in your business, in your career or in your life, stretch yourself! Step out of your comfort zone and be sure to invest some of your time to network with other successful people.

Very often when we ask people whether they spend time networking, many of them will say no. When we ask them why? They will say 'I have no time' or 'I don't know where to go' or 'I don't know how to network'. But we think the real reasons are:

1) They've never experienced the power of networking.
2) They are in their comfort zone.

So what are some of the benefits of learning how to network?

* Networking brings about many new opportunities - through networking, we've been able to form new partnerships, find new customers or even better suppliers. Those looking for a new job will also do well by networking. You never know when you'll meet someone who's looking to hire or knows someone who is.

* Networking keeps you up to date - to stay relevant in business, it's important to keep an eye out on what competitors or people in the same industry as you are doing so you can decide whether to make changes in your business strategy.

* Networking opens up your perspective and stirs your creativity - meeting new people opens up new doors and ways of thinking for you. If you feel stuck in a rut or trapped in a box, speaking to someone with a different perspective from you can help you solve your problems from an angle you never thought of before.

To be successful in life, BOTH what you know and who you know are important. If either of these are lacking in your life, make a decision to do something about it and most importantly T'AKE A'CTION. If you do so, we guarantee you will see the results in your life change as well.
