Outsourcing: The Great Advantage

By: Floyd Buenavente

There was a documentary that I was able to come across and it's about an American going out to a third world country and working in an outsourcing company.
Turned out it became a life changing experience for the American. Some outsourcing employees are even below poverty level and only because of outsourcing companies were they able to eat and continue with their lives. I can go on and on but the main gist of the whole documentary is how outsourcing becomes a win-win situation between the client and the worker.

Heres' why...

It's a known fact that outsourcing has always been a main issue of debate between first world countries and its citizens. But on the positive side investors are given more choices where to spend their money and at the same time create potential partners in their fields of specialization. The truth of the matter, is that it all boils down to the effects it creates and felt all around the world.

I always believe in the opportunity of change and Outsourcing is a major player in creating change as a life-stream for different countries. The Philippines is one major player since the initial inception of Outsourcing in the global arena. In the beginning there were different trading of materials and goods but nowadays foreign investors recognize the potential of the working force of the host country and found ways to capitalize on them, thus bringing forth a new market.

Following this pattern of “Potential Labor Force” foreign investors saw the need to use this potential to drive their capital into the host country and help thousands of people, other than having a low standard margin of costs in expanding the investors businesses, outsourcings' advantage provides powerful benefits in creating a more stable economy for the host country as well as open other windows of opportunities for other investments.

We can never really tell until when this onslaught of change will happen, but as far as I can imagine outsourcing is an advantage if not a blessing for third world countries. Its' just a matter of time before other foreign investors find out why outsourcing will always be an advantage for them and for the workers.
