Many debates go on about the best affiliate marketing programs and no real winners are found so perhaps it is just best to stick with regular websites. Not many people understand just how much revenue is possible with affiliate marketing if you sent you mind to it. Other than a small (or large) website, often just one page is all that is required as long as it is designed for the product in question. Almost all reputable affiliate programs will allow you to join them at no charge (not even an admin fee) so be very careful handing over money to any company that says you need to pay them a single registration fee. If you don't know what to do about payments then you would be well advised to choose one or both of the following programs: Clickbank or Paypal can both process payments from companies and registration doesn't cost a cent. Remember this is the early part of your affiliate marketing venture so you do not need (or want) to experiment unnecessarily; there will be plenty of time to do that when you are more established.

When you are new at marketing affiliate products there is a great deal to learn, but take heart as there are a huge number of free resources, ebooks and websites, to help just don't try to take in too much at once. To make money from their free ebooks, many authors have affiliate links in the url's, so if you visit some of these do not feel that you have to buy anything. In the beginning it is probably worthwhile just using whatever free programs and resources you can that will help you start building a regular income. This is a way for a trust to be built up between the developer or writer and you as the consumer.

For the best exposure of your affiliate marketing campaign, use alternative sources of advertising, do not restrict your efforts to purely online methods. This type of marketing is about directing traffic to your affiliate website. Just about every affiliate marketer needs to know what advertising methods driving traffic to their site is working so they use tracking techniques and then drop the methods that are not working. There is a great deal of money to be made with affiliate marketing because you are not restricted to just one product or company. A word of warning: there is also danger of getting bogged down with too much information, this can also be bad or out dated just too make matters worse.
