Also, getting a debt consolidation loan to combine your debts into one distinguished payment instead of several others is a great idea.

It's almost completely impossible to avoid any kind of debt, but with a sold plan it's probably easier to do. Marriage is about cooperation, and so is debt relief. Having debts can ruin a great marriage and turn into some way more stressful. To avoid any stressful obstacles, its well advised that both partners do what they have to do to form a great partnership and solve their debt problems.
