The Seven Step Wealthation Plan

By: James Delrojo

Here is a seven step system for acquiring financial wealth and a rewarding lifestyle. I have run many one day courses around this plan and my students have achieved excellent results from applying it. Here is a brief summary for you to use.

Step 1: Destination

The best way I've found to set financial goals is to start by describing the lifestyle that you want to live. After all the most logical reason to accumulate money is so that you can use it to enhance your life in some way.

Once you have a good, clear picture of the lifestyle that you are aiming for then determine the annual income and net worth that you would require to fund and secure that lifestyle.

Step 2: Motivation + Education

Making considerable changes to your lifestyle requires that you first make considerable changes to your attitudes and habits. In order to do this you need both motivation and education.

People are motivated primarily by the opportunity for pleasure or the avoidance of pain (physical or emotional).

Pleasure motivation comes from focusing on the emotional benefits that your desired lifestyle will provide for you.

If you are in an unhappy situation at the moment then you can also tap into the avoidance of pain form of motivation by focusing on the emotional realization that you no longer wish to live the way you are living now.

Motivation on its own is not enough. Motivation without education only leads to frustration. In order to make major changes in your financial life you have to also learn the skills of the financial game. Today is the best time in the history of the world for learning financial skills. There are books, ebooks, audios, videos, teleseminars, seminars, and home study courses on every aspect of financial skills.

Step 3: Creation + Activation

Once you know where you want to go, and you've built a powerful motivation, and you have also acquired the skills of the game then you need to create a game plan for putting what you know into action.

Of course a game plan is only an interesting piece of theory until you put it into action. Knowledge isn't power until it is applied.

Step 4: Evaluation

Every goal directed action produces some form of result. Either something changes or nothing changes, either way it is a result. This fourth step requires you to evaluate your results to see if they are taking you in the direction of your goal or not.

Step 5: Continuation or Modification

If your actions are moving you toward your goal then you can continue doing what you are doing. If, on the other hand, they are not moving you closer to your goal, or if your progress is too slow, then you need to modify what you are doing in order to improve your results.

Step 6: Determination + Dedication
In step two we discussed motivation. Motivation helps you get to the point where you have a plan and you are taking action on that plan. Once you are in the action-evaluation-modification-action loop then your need the determination and dedication to keep you on track and to overcome the obstacles that tend to crop up from time to time.

Step 7: Ongoing Remuneration
Your reward from following the first six steps is an ongoing supply of passive income or remuneration. And, if you have done everything well enough, this provides for the lifestyle that you targeted in step one of the wealthation plan.

Now that I have described the seven step wealthation plan I hand it over to you to put it into practice in your life so that you can reap the rewards and build a truly rewarding lifestyle for yourself and your family.
